For as long as I can remember I was active. I grew up playing all different sports. I went to college to play field hockey and study nursing. Two years in, I realized nursing wasn’t for me and transferred to Boise State, where there wasn’t a field hockey team. I found myself wanting to stay active and that’s when I found the gym and weight lifting. I got a job working the front desk at the gym and decided to sit for my CPT because it went right along with what I was studying in school, kinesiology. I instantly fell in love with training clients 1-1 but also in a group setting. I knew I had found a career that I loved. There is no better feeling than seeing someone transform their lives through health and fitness. Watching someone’s confidence in themselves increase when they reach a goal is so fulfilling.
