The #FBKGetSchooled coaches are here to motivate, inspire, and guide you through the challenge. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and be honest with your coach each week. They’re not here to judge, they’re here to help you make changes in the right direction.

From having a coach, you can expect a happy medium of praise and “tough love.” Having a coach is going to hold you accountable week after week, and allow guidance in your training, progress, macros and more. It will be beneficial for someone who may be a beginner in the gym, new to macro tracking, or may just need some extra accountability or motivation along the way. Coaches are going to praise the work you put in, and tweak the things that could use improvement to ultimately help you reach your end goal—whether that be gaining muscle or general weight loss.
Coach contact is once per week because spacing out your check-ins is going to help us monitor progress week over week, and allow your body time to adapt to new stimulus like more cardio or changes to your caloric intake. After analyzing how your body is responding to your training protocols, your coaches can make adjustments as needed.

Be honest and share as much as you feel comfortable sharing with your coach. Nothing is off the table. If you were off track from training or macro protocol, share that with your coach. We promise we won’t get mad! If you had a tough week and stress was high and sleep was non-existent, let us know. If something isn’t working—that’s important for us to know as well. We’re here to help but we can only assist with finding a solution if we know what’s going on.
Don't forget to ask lots of questions! We don’t want you to ever feel lost or alone on this journey (we’re a team)! You should always know the WHY behind something being implemented, so if you’re unsure, or need clarification, just ask us!

You'll get to check in once a week with your coach. Check-ins open every Saturday at 11AM (EST) in the FIT by Katy app, and remain open until Wednesday the following week. This is your chance to be open, honest and thorough with your coach. The FBK team is here to help you cross the finish line, and we can't wait to cheer for you on the other side.
WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH?
Your coach will ask you to pick the day that best fits your schedule to check in and stick with it. This will ensure your coach can respond to your weekly check-ins within 48 hours or (usually) less.
WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY COACH?
The short answer—everything! The more you share with your coach, the better they'll be able to customize a plan that fits YOU. If you are experiencing any digestive issues, not getting enough sleep or having a hard time completing any of the exercises, these are all things your coach needs to know.
To get you started, be prepared to answer the following questions:
- On a scale from 1 to 10, how well did you adhere to your macros this week?
- On a scale from 1 to 10, how well did to you adhere to your water intake?
- How many cardio sessions did you complete this week?
- How many workouts did you complete this week?
- On a scale from 1 to 10, please rate your energy levels with 1 as no energy and 10 as high energy.
- What are your stress levels?
- How was your sleep this week?
